The webserver crashed while I was traveling. First unplanned real downtime in many years. All the mailinglists and websites should be back up now again.

Thanks, I think it’s always better to get something than just the “Site cannot be found”.
I took my laptop to an internet cafe in Fortaleza, Brazil, used ssh into my server at home, set up apache with the errorpage, and changed the DNS to point to that server. Easy when I found out what had happened :-)
I’m glad you had the temporary page up saying you had the problem or else I’d have thought “I guess this web is gone…”.
